Exocolonist Fandom Masterlist
Aug. 31st, 2025 10:42 amTo prevent signup brain going 'have I ever liked anything ever', here's a list of every character, ship and prompt I've made in exchanges that I can keep to look back at! Everyone listed alphabetically by first name. General takes written up, then specific prompts in bullet points.
IWATEX is about a new colony on an alien planet! You play as Sol from the ages of 11-19, and your actions shape the lives of the people in the colony and get different endings! There's running-around-exploring gameplay, visual-novel style text gameplay, and card-minigame gameplay
Fandom Specific Likes
Trying again and again and again in time loops! The desperate need to do better than the generation before, fucking up the next generation in new and exciting ways, an entire unexplored planet laid out before you, the transhumanist discussions, there's a place for everyone, alien first contact, neurodivergent rep (every single one of the kids, surely...)
General Prompts
[Worldbuilding]
- Xenobotany: your Vriki turns into a nursery tree, and the pollen is just Vertumna connecting to itself! Fascinating!!!
- The wormhole: oh my god the Transcendence ending with Constellation and also the ending that reveals how easily the Gardeners can just... yeet ships going through it somewhere else?
- The Gardeners: I know they're deeply connected to both the nature and the physics of Vertumna and are probably considered a higher plan of existence, but hear me out: you KNOW there are some juicy passive-aggressive sticky notes.
[Seasons of Drabbles]
- I'd especially love to see: pre-wormhole spaceship shenanigans, whatever the hell the Gardeners do for fun, slice of life in the colony, the aftermath of any ending where Sol gets a nice normal colony job, what colonists do during Glow, bonding, bickering, off-the-wall AUs, something really weird, hurt/comfort, unhinged kink, or 'missing scenes'!
Individual Characters
Dys
He accurately realises that he had no control of his environment and the shitty things that happened around him growing up, so his response is to engage in reckless, life-endangering risk-taking behaviour and I think this is fascinating. Peak 2010s emo sad boi. Many 'othered' autism-style feels. I could fix him.
Marz
Gets mad at Sol if they don't argue with her when she has to make sweeping political decisions because she's not shy about making sure she has a decent support system in place that won't just enable her bad decisions. She wants to be the best fair and square! Sometimes you just look at someone and go 'they had parents that loved them' and then you meet her dads and go 'yeah, that tracks'.
Nem
Hyper-competitive! Team player! Experienced such tragic and gruesome loss that she would punt your head in if you so much as thought about harming the colony! She is how I found out that the word isn't 'anenome'.
Rex
Ppuuy boy. I love that he loves to love, and I also love that all of that goes out the window as soon as he locks eyes with Vace.
Sym
Bored as hell and makes it everyone's problem. Canonically hassles the colony - after making friends with everyone and moving in and living among them full-time! - by turning up as a swarm of heckle-bees for fun. Even before he 'knows' about Sol, he calls them Sugarbug after the creature that can die, be cleaved in two, and pop back up to life again because he gets The Vibes. I've never used this term in my life but he's the definition of serving cunt.
Tammy
Her little ears! Her endless desire to nurture! Her selfless charm and need to stress-clean!!
Tangent
She accurately realises that she had no control of her environment and the shitty things that happened around her growing up, so her response is to double down on needing to understand the world as much as possible in order to be able to take responsibility for everything in her life going forward [deep breath] and I think this is fascinating.
Vace
I know, but hear me out. From a 'saw Nem's ending card' standpoint he deserves to be punted into the suns, but he also grew up violent from a violent parent in a violent institution that rewards violence and I suspect that if you launched him into space with a ship like he wants, he would have space to heal and be better. But on Vertumna... I think getting his ass kicked and then pegged might fix him.
F/F Pairings
Tammy/Marz
M/M Pairings
Dys/Sym
Rex/Vace
Infidelity DNW note for Vace: I'd prefer there not to be cheating during the period the fic/art is set, and for Nem to either not be in a relationship with him or straight up paired with anyone else you like. Past mentions of cheating are fine.

F/F Pairings
Tammy/Marz
- I think they'd be adorable together. Marz informing Tammy that she WILL be confident! Tammy taking care of Marz! Either have the potential to be a soft or a hard domme and I think that's beautiful.
- Sharing a bed in terrible weather (huddling for warmth!!!)
M/M Pairings
Dys/Sym
- Dys knows he wants to live in Vertumna but that doesnt' stop him having A Time adjusting to the local wildlife (Sym included) (This is a sex pollen prompt)
- Sym coming to live at the colony and having A Time adjusting to the strange human plants. I can imagine him waking Dys up like, "Dys. Dys. I ate a 'hotdog'. We have to fuck right now."
- Dys/Sym with exploration mishaps! They're perfect for avalances, lakes, sudden snowstorms and heat exhaustion.
- Two moderately human lifeforms Doing Their Best is peak fiction
Rex/Vace
Infidelity DNW note for Vace: I'd prefer there not to be cheating during the period the fic/art is set, and for Nem to either not be in a relationship with him or straight up paired with anyone else you like. Past mentions of cheating are fine.
- Vace all "I know you hate me but this hurts and I need you to fix it" and Rex wondering if he really does hate him. (This is a sex pollen prompt)
- Rex going to Vace when pollened because he's the first person he sees/he doesn't want any of his lovers to see him truly not in control but Vace already hates him so what's the big deal right (Vace comes the hardest he's ever come in his life)
- Rex and/or Vace having horrifyingly horny thoughts about the other and forcing themselves into cold showers.
